Husband-and-wife team Jack and Rowe have been known for their buko pies since 2009. Buko, or young coconut pies are one of the more popular Filipino desserts. Jack and Rowe are the first bakers in Northern California to offer buko pies with ube flavor.
The two started their Sweet Pipers cottage bakery as a small side hustle, baking their Filipino desserts for holidays and just a few events each year.
